In the second quarter of 2025, the top travel and local apps in Mexico showed varied performance trends on the unified platform, according to data from Sensor Tower.

Volaris 2.0 started the quarter strong with weekly downloads at approximately 299K, but experienced a gradual decline, ending at about 102K by the end of June. The app maintained a robust user base, with weekly active users fluctuating between 333K and 394K throughout the quarter.

Airbnb saw its weekly downloads decrease from around 129K to 67K over the quarter. However, the app's weekly active users remained high, peaking at over 2.6M in early April and settling at approximately 2.3M by the end of June.

Instabridge: WiFi Hotspot Map experienced fluctuations in weekly downloads, with peaks in early April at about 62K and a decline to 33K by the end of June. The weekly active users increased in the latter half of the quarter, reaching around 234K.

Viva maintained steady weekly downloads, peaking at nearly 50K in late May and ending the quarter at about 37K. Active users showed a dip in May but recovered to approximately 598K by the end of June.

Lastly, Despegar: vuelos y hoteles started with 27K downloads, dropping to 14K by the end of the quarter. The app’s active users saw growth, peaking at 181K in mid-June.
